The information of Codeks software license owners is stored in our Jantar database. The data will be stored throughout the production and lifetime of the Codeks software.

Data protection and deletion in the Codeks software

The database used by the Codeks software contains very sensitive personal information of your company’s employees, and must thus be appropriately protected against data loss or abuse by the database owner or administrator.

Jantar does not store any personal information about the employees of your company and does not have direct access to your Codeks database.

In some rare cases, it may be necessary to grant our support service (limited) access to your database in order to solve specific problems with the Codeks software and perform system maintenance in accordance with valid maintenance contracts. In such cases, you will be obliged to sign a Data Processing Agreement with Jantar, with which you allow the Jantar customer support service access to the data in your Codeks database.

Data storage and data usage when using the Codeks Mobility mobile app

When using the Codeks Mobility mobile application, users send their time and attendance registration information to the local server of each individual customer, who is using the Codeks software. The data thus received is further processed and stored in the Codeks database of the customer, who as the owner of the software and database is responsible for the proper protection against data loss or misuse.

Jantar does not receive, store or have access to any data sent through the Codeks Mobility mobile app.

Data storage and data usage when using the Codeks Key Keeper mobile app

Using the Codeks Key Keeper mobile app, users send access requests directly to a controller that controls access to their hotel room or other public hotel area. When a controller receives an access request, it creates an appropriate event according to the user’s access rights, which is sent to the local server of each individual client using the Codeks Apartment Kit or. Codeks Hotel software.
