We have completed beta testing of the redesigned Codeks Mobility mobile application, which now brings a more modern and visually user-friendly interface, a redesigned time attendance overview, and an improved user experience for everyday use.

In Codeks version 10.2601, group visibility is automatically adjusted based on the individual administrator’s location permissions.

As of January 2025, the Codeks program is transitioning to a newer version of the .NET platform, more precisely version 8.0, offering improved performance, enhanced security, and support for newer technologies. To ensure a smooth upgrade process, we have prepared detailed instructions on how to properly upgrade Codeks from older versions.

Before updating the program to Codeks version 10.2501.12.24444 or later, all users running a version LOWER than 10.2404.12.23746 are REQUIRED to first upgrade to version 10.2404.12.23746!

Upgrading directly from versions older than 10.2404.12.23746 to newer versions is NOT RECOMMENDED, as it may result in data loss!

All users running version 10.2404.12.23746 or higher (10.2501.2.xxx and above) can proceed with the standard upgrade process.

Starting September 30, 2024, Google is introducing changes to access Gmail mail accounts. According to the new version, access will only be possible via the OAuth security standard, which means that access with just a password will be disabled. All users who use a Gmail account to send e-mails from the Codeks program must upgrade Codeks to 10.2404.4.2133 and properly connect Codeks to their Gmail account via the OAuth standard before this date.

If you see a red text banner when you sign in to the Codeks application that writes “Warning! UpdatesLicenceExpiring – Updates license is about to expire May 2, 2021 …” or “Warning! UpdatesLicenceExpired – Updates license has expired May 2, 2021 …”, this means that your existing installed version of the Codeks software will continue to run UNINTERRUPTED and UNLIMITED, however, after this date you will no longer be able to update your Codeks system to new versions of the software.
