What’s new in Codeks v10.2507

With Codeks version 10.2507, we have introduced several important improvements that enhance transparency, and overall operational efficiency.

Below are two key new features now available to users:

  • Extended daily sums and redesigned leave calculation
  • Priority Events and Mandatory Processing in Monitor

Extended daily sums and redesigned leave calculation

We have expanded the use of daily sums in the Timetables window and redesigned the way leave is calculated.

The updates include:

  • a new Leave Counter, providing a clearer and more flexible way of tracking leave,
  • a new Working Time Limit summary, which helps monitor excessive working hours through notifications and ensures that overtime is properly recorded and handled.

Updated instructions for daily summaries can be found in the Codeks documentation, section 10.3.10 Daily sums in timetable.

IMPORTANT! If you are using program version 10.2501 or earlier, instructions for entering and calculating annual leave are available in the document for older versions, in section 4.4 Edit Year.

Priority Events and Mandatory Processing in Monitor

Codeks now supports assigning priorities to events per individual location, providing improved control and timely handling of important events.

Each priority event:

  • can be assigned a priority level (1–9),
  • can be configured differently for each location,
  • must be processed (confirmed) in the Monitor viewer,
  • may require a mandatory comment before confirmation,
  • may include handling instructions, which are displayed during event processing.

This ensures that important events are detected in a timely manner, properly handled, and that security operators are provided with clear instructions for appropriate action.

Instructions for configuring priority events by location can be found in the Codeks documentation, section 9.2.1.5 Define priority events.
