With Codeks version 10.2512, we have introduced new add-on Assembly Point and added Two-factor authentication (2FA).
New Add-on: Assembly Point
A new add-on, Assembly Point, has been developed for tracking and reporting the presence of persons and their location in the event of an evacuation caused by emergency situations.
The add-on enables real-time sending of updated reports, giving the responsible person a complete and up-to-date overview at all times during the evacuation—showing who is still inside the building and who has already arrived at the assembly point.
The add-on enables:
- sending an initial presence report when an emergency event occurs,
- sending real-time reports, providing a clear overview of who has safely arrived at the assembly point and who remains in the building,
- supporting responsible persons in the organized and reliable execution of evacuation procedures.
By using data from the presence monitoring system, the Assembly Point add-on significantly improves company safety protocols in emergency situations such as fires or other hazardous events.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled
Codeks supports Two-Factor authentication (2FA) for administrator and user logins, enhancing the overall security of system access. 2FA can be implemented using a dedicated mobile application (e.g. Google Authenticator) or by receiving a 2FA code via email.
By using two independent methods of identity verification:
- the risk of unauthorized access is significantly reduced,
- user accounts are better protected,
- organizations achieve a higher level of information security.
Detailed instructions for setting up two-factor authentication can be found in the Codeks documentation, section 6.8.1.2 Two-Factor authentication (2FA).
